FAQ
What preparation do I do prior to treatment?
We recommend removing all mascara, eye makeup or contact lenses. Use of oil free makeup removers arestrongly advised, so that application of extensions aren't hindered.
No lash tints or lash curling on the day of lash extension application.
Do Eyelash Extensions damage natural lashes?
If Eyelash Extensions are professonally applied, ensuring that the weight and length are suitable for your natural lash base, no damage should ever occur.
Our clients have been wearing lash extensions for many years.
Can I wear mascara with Eyelash Extensions?
Most of our clients find they no longer need to wear mascara as the lash extensions provide the look they desire. You can wear mascara on your bottom lashes.
If your feel you need to wear mascara with your extensons, we recommend only blinking into it once.
Definately no waterproof mascara, as it damages the extensions and eats away the compounds of our surgical grade glue.
How often do I need refills?
We recommend infills are conducted every ~4 weeks, to maintain a great looking set of lashes. Some of our clients can go 5 weeks between infills, however, it is very individual dependant and based on the aftercare we recommend. This is dependant on the set we apply for you.
What is the Aftercare for my Lash Extensions?
Don't stress!!! We run you through the Aftercare process & provide you with the tools & an aftercare card, so you get the best out of your lashes.
What happens if I have sensitivities to certain products or elements prior to lash extensons?
We will recommend that we apply a patch test on you, allowing 24-48 hours after the patch test to get a clear indication if any allergies appear.
We have a sensitive glue for our clients that may be allergic to certain things, so they still get to enjoy lash extensions with no issues.
What do I do if I need to have my lash extensions removed?
We recommend that you have this done professionally. Just contact us & we can remove them for you in the correct professional manner. Removing them yourself can lead to damage of your natural lashes.
You can also let the extensions fall out on their own.
